Johnny was born in Taiwan and showed exceptional talent in painting from a young age. After attending Fu-Hsin Trade and Arts School in high school, he pursued further studies at Bangkok University in Thailand, where the country’s rich diversity deeply influenced his artistic vision.

During his time in Thailand, a chance encounter became a turning point in his career. After creating a portrait for a friend’s father, Johnny was invited to visit a stainless steel factory.

Inspired by the experience, he experimented with using an angle grinder as a creative tool, marking the beginning of his journey into metal sculpture.
Using metal as his main medium, he blends multicultural influences with deep cultural insight and a unique perspective, establishing himself as a rising star in metal art.

With a unique sense of beauty and perspective, combined with refined craftsmanship, Johnny reinterprets the relationship between industry and art—infusing cold, rigid metal with warmth and soul, and elevating metalwork to new dimensions.

Drawing inspiration from everyday life—ranging from cultural observations and natural landscapes to life experiences and the art of living—he transforms these influences into innovative works shaped by diverse cultural encounters.

Through his art, he hopes to share beauty and profound value, inspiring a renewed appreciation of Taiwanese culture worldwide.
